In short, we offer workshops to schools and their children as a way of exploring their own, potential, love of music. We can focus on music genres, creation of sound, music composition or anything music based in order to fit with the age and standard of the children. Our workshops last for an hour and we can fit two in to one day, covering any given topic. However, if you want to hire us for shorter workshops then we can change our format without any hassle.






			Tempus have received training from the ‘Live Music Now' organisation on the construction and delivery of workshops. With this knowledge we have since performed a number of workshops in Primary Schools (although we are willing and able to perform in Secondary Schools as well), educating, informing and getting children excited about live music.
				In our experience a lot of children have never seen a tuba close up and/or have no concept of how sound is made. Through a mix of performance and interactive games we manage to teach them about these topics. We cover music from Baroque to modern day pop hits, asking about dynamics, tempo and style (“Was that piece loud or quiet?” etc). We perform clapping games with the
